A little about me
Hi, I'm Andrei.
I'm studying Immersive Software Engineering at the University of Limerick. I enjoy turning an idea into working software, especially when the code connects something on a screen to something in the physical world.
My projects have taken me from reading sensors and sending radio telemetry with Velsat to collecting training images and experimenting with computer vision in ExGlass. They have also taught me that a working demonstration and a reliable system are different milestones.
What you'll find here
I write about the software I worked on: how a system fits together, why I changed an approach, and what went wrong before something started working. Hardware appears where it helps explain the code; the focus is on implementation and learning.
The project posts are my own writing about that work. Tech News is a separate collection of current headlines from external publishers, with links to their original articles.
